All My Children's Micah Alberti To Play In Wildfire

Micah Alberti joined the cast of All My Children in September 2002 as Jamie Martin, the only son of Brooke English and Tad Martin. Being a teenager is hard enough, let alone having to recognize his parents hardships and mistakes.

Mr. Alberti comes to New York City directly from his families home in Wisconsin. A big sports fan, Mr. Alberti enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, basketball and riding motorcycles. Adding to his talents Mr. Alberti is an accomplished Gymnast and model having lived in Italy for two months.

Casting News For Wildfire

Micah Alberti, Genevieve Cortese, Andrew Hoeft, Greg Serano, Ryan Sypek, Nicole Tubiola, Nana Visitor and Dennis Weaver have joined the cast of Lions Gate Television's backdoor pilot "Wildfire."

Story revolves around an 18-year-old equestrienne (Cortese) whose talent with horses helps her re-enter society after serving time at a teen detention center. Steve Miner will direct.

Lensing starts today in Albuquerque, N.M. Telepic is slated to air in 2005.

Nana Visitor And Genevieve Cortese To Star In Wildfire

STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE's Nana Visitor ('Kira Nerys') has joined the cast of a new backdoor pilot from Lions Gate Television and DS9 co-creator Michael Piller, according to Variety.

Titled WILDFIRE, the television movie-length pilot is the story of a troubled 18 year-old girl who puts her life back together after serving time in a teenaged detention center by honing her talent with horses. Genevieve Cortese will play the girl and the trade offers no further details on Visitor's role.

Piller's Piller2 production company also produces USA Network's THE DEAD ZONE. WILDFIRE could be picked up as a series based on the telefilm's performance when it airs in 2005. No airdate or home for the show has yet been announced. WILDFIRE began shooting in New Mexico on November 21st.

WILDFIRE (A.K.A. RAINTREE) (ABC Family, New!) - The project, previously set at the WB, has moved over to ABC Family and is being redeveloped as a two-hour backdoor pilot telefilm. Michael Piller ("The Dead Zone") created the series, which concerns a teenage girl on her own for the first time, having been a ward of the court, who ends up working with a racehorse. Lions Gate Television will remain as a producer on the project, production of which is expected to be completed in time for a March air date.
